    Reference Help

This guide provides information about Davis Memorial Library’s resources for students researching language and non-English literature.  Use the  tabs above to navigate through the guide.

If you need any assistance please use the libraryh3lp chat link on the left (when active), call a reference librarian at (910) 630-7123, or email us at  And, of course, you can always just drop by the library and ask to speak to a reference librarian!

You can also make an appointment for an Individualized Research Assistance session - half an hour of a librarian's undivided attention.  Let us know what your assignment is and what you've already tried, then we'll meet (either face to face or via chat) and work out a research strategy and find some sources.

You may also find the libguides for ESL (English as a second language) and TESL (teaching English as a second language) helpful.
