Degree Infomation

Master of Library Science

North Carolina Central University

I used a iPhone 4s and 5C throughout Graduate School

(August 2012 to May 2014)

Why I Used My Phone

As a busy full time library paraprofessional and full time graduate student, I had to come up with a convenient way to make graduate school work with my lifestyle. I used my phone to submit my assignments, whenever I had time wherever I was. It allowed me to work on assignments  before work, before and after church, and even on the way to work (someone else was driving!).

Computer Use

When class met on Blackboard Collaborate.

This was does for two classes that met once a week for a whole semester, and other classes through out both years; were more sporadic with the use of meeting together.

Formatting the paper for on Microsoft Word, which would then be saved into Google Drive to be turned in.

I would also start my research for articles and books on the computer, and then would switch back to my phone were I could be more mobile.
